The Untold African History of America


In the fifth episode of Futuhat, Dr Stef Keris explains how Islam reached the Americas. Taken from his book The Islamic History of Europe, the following subjects are presented:
• The cultural remnants of African Muslims found in South America as evidenced by ancient ruins and artefacts such as the colossal Olmec heads.

• The presence of Muslim communities is the Dominican Republic, Guyana, Brazil, Surinam, Trinidad and Tobago
